    Full Micron Repacking

Hey guys repacked my exhaust today, spent the past 20mins typing up the "perfect" post full of pics, explanation, wit, and some tasteful innuendo and then my stone-age effing computer crashed . So anyway here ya go before/after vids:

    Wide open:

    After a good stuffing

Sound quality is bad, its from my android phone but you get the idea. Also just for fun the other day my friend wanted a go at my bird on a local straight indicated 185mph with 16/45 gearing thats prob about 13% too high. Regardless he rides a Honda 599, good bike, but definitely no bird so he was impressed and now wants one. Here it is:

Also found a bunch of vids of my old truck and friends cars from high school that I posted on my account too, just terrible burn-outs and stuff but fun nonetheless!

Sorry guys for some reason the last two videos won't link through the forum. But if you look at the videos on my YouTube channel they are the last three and are working through there.

    Hope you enjoy,

    Trevor

Can that be healthy for a standing bike? I prefer my TwoBro C5 Tit. I also repacked them last spring.

Are you referring to me revving the bike close to redline in neutral or that it had no packing in the exhaust from the previous owner? I'm sure the non-load revving is probably not the best thing for my bird but was trying to give you guys an idea of what it sounds like full on! And I would think as long as the full exhaust is on the bike it shouldn't hurt it to have no packing since some companies offer this setup or "race-packing." Is it bad for the bike CB i have no clue will have to poke around on here and see?

And yea CB the TwoBros does have a great sound, this is just the exhaust that came with the bike so I decided to stick with it as opposed to paying close to $1,000USD for another setup.I find this ridiculous considering my friend bought a full titanium setup for his trailblazer SS which was a basically true dual setup and only paid $1,500USD. It's terrible we are forced to pay nearly that much for 1/5 the metal/bends etc.

    Sounds much better doesnt it!
Dont worry, you didnt hurt the motor there...

    Elve,

Yea the video I posted was right after I was finished so the packing still had not expanded, now after few hours driving time, the tape has burned off and the packing has finally settled in. It sounds amazing, no more headaches after a long days ride and instead of the loud obnoxious scream it had before, I have a deep ballzy tone that lets everyone know its no lil 600, but a torque monster! ha

Yea it's great, and I may just be overzealous, but it honestly seems like it gave me more midrange power as well. I left my house today and the front came up no problem in 1st when before it would only lift under full-on acceleration, although it was colder today, so maybe it was just that little extra oxygen in the air. Either way I'm not complaining just one more reason why I've fallen in love with my bird .

    Happy riding,

    Trevor
