    Alberta/BC riders

Well fella's , the time is nearing when we should start looking at settin up a ride.

Lets start throwing around some dates ,time's and a few idea's and see what we come up with.

This should be easy, as unlike our American brothers, we Canadians can put together a two province ,drunkin motorcycle event in under 2 hours.....

Seriously though, summer will soon be appon us.

I ride alone and prefer not to drink with strangers. But I will honk my horn and flash my lights as I pass by on my way to Edmonton for July 8th.

OK, you can meet me in Cocrane and you can organize a detour that takes me to Edmonton. A little west then north then east. We can get to know each other on the ride.

No, my niece is the town financial planner/manager, I think. She has a good gig and is excellent at her job. I live in Lotus land by the beach. My sisters, a neice and family live in Edmonton. My mom passed in November, 90 y.o. and we're having a family get together in August. I've been riding there since 2000 but I've been visiting for eons. I'm off work the last Friday in June till Labour Day so I do a great deal of touring. Mostly BC, ABT, Wash, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and hoping maybe to do California this summer. I've ridden to Edmonton every conciderable way possible. Even the Saskatchewan River crossing to Rock Mnt House. My wife is visiting the Philipines for a month so I'm a bachlor for awhile. Just

But hey, shouldn't you be ploughing the "back forty"?

Very interesting that you should say "ploughing the back forty"

Either you are referring to what I'm going to do to INVOLUTE the Utard the next time I see him ......or you know that I live on a farm.

But hey, let me know when your going thru, and I'll either stop you for a quick coffe, or ride with ya towards Edmonton, or where ever.

    Re: Alberta/BC riders

Very funny boys, you two writing your own material? Ploughing the back forty, I love a good crack about rural life in Alberta.
Hope we're not the only ones from BC who reply. I hope to make it out there again this season, but probably not until August/Sept. Euro-relatives coming for 2 weeks in late July.
New job gives me every 2nd Friday off, so leaving Thurs. afternoon will be a common theme. Usually ride alone or with 2 others. Hoping to hook up with other XX'ers this season. Let's make it happen.
Let's hear from the rest of the Canucks in here.

    Take care, Glen.
