I do not know at this point in time if I can make either of the dates posted. June will have the "Good, Bad and Ugly" down south in the Smokies again. After that it's a crap shoot. My wife will be back to work (very happy to say) after doing battle with the Big C,..so I'll be on Mr. Mom duty while she picks up where she left off almost two years ago. I'll keep watching this one.

So here goes .....from a forum newbe....................Just about every time I check the stats, when I log on, there seems to be about 10 times the number of guests as there are members on this forum.ie just now there were 6 members, 76 guests, earlier 7 members & 71 guests, last night somewhere around 10 - 15 members most of the evening and up to 80 or so guests.
This tells me that there is a lot of interest in Blackbirds, from potential buyers, to owners who have not yet joined the forum, to people in the motorcycle world who have a high interest and respect for the Blackbird. How about some of you guys and girls converting over to the dark side and joining our little group.

If we take the same ratio as used in most marketing reports, of US vs Canada ( approx 10:1 population),and taking an assumption that most of the guests are US based (which is probably incorrect) then there are about 5 - 7 people a day, maybe more (10:1 ratio) from Canada on this forum, many from the Ontario-Quebec area, most of which would love to see Blackbirds up close..................yea, you knew it..........a shameless plug.....................come on out to our little Blackbird meet 'n greet at Shannonville and Mosport this summer, bring along your bike, BB or not, and meet some of the members & see their bikes and mods............everyone who has interest in the Honda Blackbird is welcome................see dates above....................thanks

I have a feeling that a large number of the "guests" are actually search bots. Not all, but a lot.
That should in no way detract from the sentiment of your post above.

Yea Shewie, I agree that some of the "guests" would be search bots, but I would guess at any one time there are more than a few real humans looking in on our little forum and wishing they had a Blackbird of their own, wishing they could see one up close, or more than one with mods both cosmetic and performance, Like mentioned in one of the other threads these beauties are relative rare out in public, You just do not see too many of them on the road, and would be nice to get a group together to show off the 'birds...............see post 1 in this thread.......

I'm in for shannonville, I'll most likely just ride down for a day. Anyone from Montreal or Ottawa want to go as a group?

Glad you can make it. Hope you can get a few others from your area to come as well.

Would it count if I showed up on another bike, but with some Bird parts in me pockets??

Just show up at one or both of the events. They both will be fun and you will see some good races and meet a group of like minded people. All you need is an interest in Blackbirds. Ride along with whatever you have and stop by to see us. It should be a fun time for all.

Yea, It is a great bike. super condition, really fair price compared to what I see out there now. Looks like new and the right colour too........

Yeah, theres a couple Birds for sale locally that have been on the market for a long time. I guess theyre worth more to the sellers than buyers..
