i was looking at bikebandit, anyone get these little rubber things from them?

i'm riding with only the other 4 screws in the windscreen right now
i got the zero gravity sport touring screen. it works great. i am so glad i got it. i cant wait to put it to good use on my trip next week.

Your local dealer may stock those, since they're used on several bikes.

If not, order a bunch of them from ServiceHonda.com or RonAyers.com to make it worth the shipping costs. Then you'll have extras.

yeah that's what i was planning of doing. so i could put them on both screens so i dont have to switch them back and forth from windscreen to the other.

those little things suck, I've gone thru a few of them myself. Seems the rubber gets hard fast and they tear pretty easily after a few years. I got mine from servicehonda.com.

but I guess I can't really complain, after 10 years and 55K miles that's nearly the only thing that's ever broken on the trusty XX .

They're called "wellnuts"... They're somewhat generic and fit 3/8" (9.5mm) holes. Dennis Kirk carries them in packs of 8... There are different screw lengths as well.

# 27-825 9x16mm $14.99 US

#27-826 9x14mm $14.99 US

(per the 2007 metric DK catalog, p.349)

*the online catalog lists the screw length as 5mm...
