I've got a friend with one ofe the Repsol 1000 RR's... He's TOTALLY paranoid about anything happening to it to a point where he barely rides it.
It's a shame, because he used to be quite the rider.
I love the look, etc.. of that bike, but my bird was meant to be ridden.

Thats one hellova paint job to be done in a garage. I painted 3 bikes earlier in the year in my garage for the first time ever and I only did 2 colors black and red. I cant imagine doing a paint job like that. Thats alot of work.

I just saw a Repsol 1000RR today parked next to a Ducati. The Ducati was getting all the attention. That said, I always felt a bike like the Repsol would get me the wrong kind of attention or present too memorable an image for law enforcement.

Does anyone know where I can get the decals for the Repsol (I realize it won't come as a kit - probably have to go to several places). I may just look into having this done to my '99. |

And yes you get them as a kit. Motorcycle Racing Spare Parts and Accessories by RED Racing Parts
Check out the selection of decals you can choose from...

Actually, it has not been sold. It's mine. I'm sitting in my garage right now looking at it. I would certainly consider selling it if anyone is interested.
