Re: Mirror alignment problem ?

Ok, I'll bite.
Since you had them painted recently, I can only assume that you had the housings dissasembled for the painter. If I recall correctly (it's been a while since I had mine apart), there are some inner componenents that conect to the mirror head that may physically fit in the right and left housing but are creating the problem that you are encountering. I would bet that you have the right and left mirror heads switched and while they fit in the exterior housing, there is an internal bracket that is upside down causing the limited adjustability. Basically, I believe you have Part # 9 and #14 reversed.

Re: Mirror alignment problem ?

Thank you for that try, actually I had all the part's in the right place I was missing #25 (nut flange) or spacer. these part's are hard to get backward's or wrong because on every component inside the mirror is labeled with a "L" for left "R" for right. Normally I dont post unless I am really stumped on something, Thank you agian, Matt
