i would defo be interested and 1k sounds a great deal. but sadly, not this year though maybe next summer ? what would the finish be like ? because ideally i wouldnt want to paint it, just show it off

The finish on these will be similar to the 2 pics I have posted in the previous page.
Mine will be having any colour added either! What's the point!

been thinking though, 1k for them really is cheap so maybe there is i catch ? since cf is truely defined by the quality and strength of the resin used you may wish to find out which resin it is they use?

I have seen a full set they did for a mate's gixxer drag bike and it was sweet! Maybe not perfect, but certainly presentable and definetely worth sticking on the bike..
Just need to find some time to go down there, as its a good ride. They are based some 500km away from me...

what canvas?
weight of canvas?
how many layers?
what resin?
after-baked?

I like the color but if i can change my fairing with one with the same color but with the weight of the carbon why not.

You can of course paint the carbon panels any coour you like.
But to be honest it kinda beats the point..
Yes there will be a weight reduction, but I expect it to be less than 5 kilos in total, if that.

The project is on hold for a lil while, as I am again pennyless and very frustruted..

depending on how bad the us to euro exchange gets i may jump in on this as well. i was going to respray the bird, but i'll skip that for a full carbon fiber panel set *grin*

Unfortunately the project is on temporary halt on my side, as my finances took another dive for the worst and I have other things to finish first.
I will be pursuing this nonetheless, it will just take more time.
If anyone wants to jump in before me this is fine and I can help with all the contacts/mail/whatever.
I do not look to make a penny on this, just looking for volume which would produce a better price kinda thing..
