'97 Black same as '03 Black?

Can anyone tell me if the black from the '97 plastic matches the paint on the '03?

Re: Plastic

My 97 Black is just black...no sparkle
I fitted a 99 side fairing panel, and this seems to match, again just black-no sparkle

It will match if you compare it from 10' away. The '03 paint has some gold metal-flake in it - a LOT of it, actually.

Paint codes are different, too. Just go custom.

My '97 has a silver sparkle in it as well. (I can only see it though when in direct sunlight)
