Just seen this, did not realise there was an Ozzie section. Will have to see if we can arrange a melbourne ride. I will look at a route and post up and see what happens.

Tweet is coming down from Sydney in the new year with a few of his mates,
Doing the Great Alpine Way and a few other roads in the high country, would be good to get a few XX's together from Melb, and join them,
Bright Mt Hotham Omeo. Jindabyne. magnificent bike roads, without too much traffic. Probably take the best part of a week.
About 1000 miles by the time we have done the full circuit,
Mainly twisties all the way in the high country, There and back, mainly straight roads,Highways. Hume Freeway, Princes Freeway,
He will keep me posted when it is going to happen.
Good ride for slowcoach, birdpilot, and anyone else who wants to come along, Middle of Summer, so it should not be cold or wet, But it is Melbourne,
Come along and make some new friends.
Brian.
