FYI Aussies - ATV bike lift/jack at SCA $120

I grabbed one of these SCA ATV Lift - 680kg - Supercheap Auto from SCA as price dropped to 119 Autobarn has same for 189, cheapest I've seen is about 130 so i thought why not.
I don't have a table and reviews from other riders seem they are happy with them.
I'll need to rig it so it fits evenly under the bird and I'll be strapping the bike to be extra safe.

It looks good. I gather you can fit it under with the center stand down right? The tire changer the other day put the bike on the center stand on a plank of wood (to raise the bike a little) and then put a lift under the header pipes. I think lifting the back meant the header pipes were level with the front wheel off the ground.

    Just checked plenty of room.
I've done the block under the stand trick too. Don't know re the pipes. Have seen folk lift entire bike (usually Harleys) with this yoke.

Might take a look this weekend. Be interested to know how stable the bike is when raised?

I tried it with the font wheel raised only and it was ok although bit wobbly if I pushed lightly. Having said that some say they've had their harleys etc completely off the ground and had no issues. I'll be using tie downs with this. I also use a piece of wood under one side to keep everything level. But I'm happy with it as it'll make a few jobs easier and those excuses unworkable.

I liked it as soon as I saw your post....and the price is great but too far away for me in Canada so I Googled "motorcycle lifts Calgary Alberta and up popped the very
same unit (used) same make and model...identical and not 30 minutes from my house. Dusty but Seller says like new.
I need something like this in my garage just for cleaning and moving around.
Ill pick it up today if its still there.....

Nice score and yeah it's same same - different companies put their monikers on it. But they all look exactly the same except colour $120 was cheaper than I could find even 2nd hand.
