Living under 100 km from the Snowy Mountains I can go there anytime and like tweet says 2000 lunatics all together is hectic......lol. It is a great cause of course but I go up there through the week when its quieter. The Snowy Ride gets bigger every year.

Can't wait for this year's ride. I had my first one last year as well. So far i haven't topped it. Gearing up this year for the 10th Anniversary ride, until last Friday I could smell a strong stench of coolant burning. Checked it out, sure enough the water pump on my girl decided to leak. Honda genuine part only. One left in Australia. Should arrive Tuesday arvo, according to Honda. The bird has just clocked up 34,000kms. I thought it was strange for a w/pump to fail. Anyway cant wait for new part to throw it together and wrap my legs around her once again.

    Cheers

Do it Mate, It a terrific ride up there, I did it last weekend two up, Would have liked to have done Mt Hotham as well but the weather was crap and very high winds going over the top, Not recommended,

Love your sence of humour, But the Silver ones are the quickest, Hahahahaha

    Re: Snowy Ride 2010

found out today... unfortunately, not a chance of getting this weekend off... will aim for next year.. :-( (run's away and cry's) i did a ride up there last year on my little turbo'd VFR400, was amazing fun!!! left from wagga and took 2days.. had a few exciting moments... crashed my bike into a guard rail (write off... keep riding anyway), mates R1 caught fire (brakes got hot and caught mud guard and all went up) nother blokes chain snapped... etc. GREAT FUN THOUGH!!!
How bout i compromise???... Black one are the fastest... but you have the fastest Cruiser and comfy'est SilverBird???... :-P hehehe
